"Traveling in Ningbo" & "Love of Dongqian Lake" Themed Month kicks off in Yinzhou

519 colorful balloons flew into the sky, and 519 cyclists set off together, cycling 51.9 kilometers around the lake to experience the Twelve Elegant Scenes of the Dongqian Lake... On May 16, the Launching Ceremony of the "May 19 China Tourism Day" Themed Week & the "Traveling in Ningbo" & "Love of Dongqian Lake" Themed Month was held along the Dongqian Lake.

May 19 this year is the 14th "China Tourism Day". The Ministry of Culture and Tourism of the People's Republic of China launched a countdown activity in the form of a six-city relay, with unique themes for designated holding cities of Chaozhou, Shenyang, Shijiazhuang, Ningbo, Ordos, and Guiyang. Ningbo, with the theme of "tourism", invites tourists and offers popular cultural and tourism products such as a 94.81% off on tickets. Popular cultural and tourism routes are also recommended, showcasing a diverse range of features from ancient rural areas to an international city, providing cultural and tourism feasts for tourists from all over the country.

At the event, the "Love of Dongqian Lake" Twelve Elegant Scenes were officially released. In recent years, the Dongqian Lake has been committed to building a culture band featuring "Yinzhou Style with Elegant Charm of the Ancient Song Dynasty" and relying on the two core exploration and innovation of "Starting Place of the Maritime Silk Road and Charm of the Ancient Song Dynasty" and "Source and Stream of the Charm of Song Dynasty of Mingzhou" to bring new vitality and energy to the culture featuring the charm of the Ancient Song Dynasty in the new era. The "Love of Dongqian Lake" Twelve Elegant Scenes released this time include "Remembering the Dongqian Lake", "Wealth and Intelligence Benefiting the People", "Lunar Wave and Fairyland-like Embankment", "Chasing the Sun on Mount Mashan", "Hanling Fishing Song", "Soul of Song Dynasty Carved Stones", "Lake Surrounded with Good Fortune", "Erling Secret Realms", "Ten-mile Pastoral Song", "Following the Moon in Shangshui", "Gathering Bridge", and "Benevolent Buddha Trail". Tourists can experience the beautiful sceneries along the Zhejiang's largest natural freshwater lake. As an important part of the Dongqian Lake Song Dynasty Cultural Circle, the Twelve Elegant Scenes of "Love of Dongqian Lake" will continuously enrich and expand the Song Dynasty culture through the combination of traditional culture and modern elements, as well as various forms of activities and experiential projects.

On the day of the event, the "Ten Scenic Spots and Ten Routes in Ningbo" and "Ten Scenic Spots and Ten Routes of Mingzhou", as well as the first batch of popular cultural and tourism cultivation projects in the city, were also released, and a group of heavyweight cultural and tourism recommenders were hired to endorse Ningbo.

In the afternoon of May 16, the Dongqian Lake Wind Beach Restaurant was officially put into use, adding a unique place along the "Sanqian Yanhuo" cultural tourism route.

Taking the opening of Dongqian Lake Wind Beach Restaurant as an opportunity, the Dongqian Lake Cultural and Tourism Group simultaneously launched a cultural and tourism resource promotion event. The managers of five major locations, including the Dongqian Lake Cultural and Tourism Scenic Area, the Dongqian Lake Cultural and Tourism Hotel, the Dongqian Lake Cultural and Tourism Media, the Qianhu National Travel Service, and the Ningbo Academicians' Center, as "lakeside life experience officers", will promote characteristic cultural and tourism resources such as the Xiaoputuo Scenic Area, the Shangshui Tent Camp, the Lake and Coffee & Qianhu Workshop, and Dongqian Lake Beach on site, promoting the deep integration of the cultural and tourism industry with cultural creativity, leisure and entertainment, car companies and weddings, and further expanding the influence and popularity of the lake area.

As an important carrier of the "Sanqian Yanhuo" cultural and tourism route in the Dongqian Lake, for the next step, we will launch multiple summer themed experience activities, including the Little Summer Forest, Lakeside Night Stalls, Beach Film Week, Summer Performance Season, and Trunk Market, etc. at locations such as the Dongqian Lake Wind Beach Restaurant, the Dongqian Lake Beach, the Yifan Hotel, and the Qian Xiao Yi, allowing tourists to enjoy a step-by-step garden party experience of sceneries, sightseeing, and cuisine.
