Yinzhou Economic Development Zone cultivates over a thousand highly skilled talents in 3 years' time
On March 11, it's learnt from the Administrative Committee of Yinzhou Economic Development Zone that the first batch of senior human resource management skill training for the development zone has been launched this year, with more than 100 attendees from enterprises in the zone participating. Taking the first manufacturing skilled talent incubation base in Yinzhou as the starting point, the Yinzhou Economic Development Zone has implemented the "Skill Empowering Zone" strategy. Through characteristic competitions, precise training programs, industry-education integration, and innovative talent services, more than 2000 skilled talents have been cultivated over the past 3 years, including over 1,000 highly skilled talents, injecting strong momentum into the high-quality development of the regional economy.
Since the proposal to build a "demonstration field" for cultivating skilled talents in the manufacturing industry was put forward in 2022, the Yinzhou Economic Development Zone has invested a total of 3 million yuan of special funds and introduced relevant measures. With the Binhai Community Workers' Cultural Palace as the center, a skill improvement system covering the all the industries of the zone has been established, radiating to the industrial enterprises above designated scale in the zone. Currently, 5 skill-oriented enterprises have been built, and 21 pilot enterprises for vocational skill level recognition have been established, ranking the first in the district.
In order to enable more industrial workers to transform from "workers" to "craftsmen", with both theoretical knowledge and practical operation ability, the Yinzhou Economic Development Zone has innovated the "theory in the community + practice in the enterprises" dual base model. They will organically integrate the Binhai community Training Site with the training venues of enterprises such as the Dongfang International and the Hongyuan Steel Structure and so on to promote the construction of a shared education base for the community and enterprises. For example, in the cultivation of welding skills, attendees would firstly learn welding process theory at the community workers' cultural palace, and then enter the enterprises' workshops for carbon dioxide gas shielded welding practical training.
The Yinzhou Economic Development Zone also promotes technological development through competitions, allowing more outstanding industrial workers to stand out. They have built a skill exhibition "Star Avenue" and hosted the Ningbo "Craftsmen Cup" Forklift Skill Competition for 3 consecutive years, attracting 147 participants from 52 companies in the city to participate. 11 winners of the competitions were awarded titles such as "Yinzhou Craftsman" and "Ningbo Craftsman".
This year, the Yinzhou Economic Development Zone will focus on promoting the "management upgrading" action, adding training content such as human resource management and lean production, etc., planning to add 2 skilled enterprises, and aiming to cultivate 500 compound highly skilled talents.
