Two units from Yinzhou included on the announced list of the fifth batch of open units for national environmental protection facilities and urban sewage and garbage treatment facilities
On March 24, the reporters learnt from the Yinzhou District Ecological Environment Bureau that recently, the General Office of the Ministry of Ecology and Environment of the People's Republic of China announced the list of the fifth batch of open units for national environmental protection facilities and urban sewage and garbage treatment facilities. Two units in our district, namely the Dingqiao Solid Waste Transfer Station and the Yinzhou District Ecological Environment Monitoring Station, were included on the list.
The Dingqiao Solid Waste Transfer Station is a modern large-scale second-class domestic waste transfer station in our city, with a daily processing capacity of about 300 tons of domestic waste and the consumption of nearly a quarter of the domestic waste in the central urban area of Yinzhou. The transfer station adopts vertical compression transfer technology, using containers as carriers for compression transfer, reducing the secondary pollution of garbage landing on the environment. The combination scheme of front-end ion fresh air, plant liquid spray, washing tower and other professional dust removal and deodorization systems is adopted to comprehensively control the odor. In terms of sewage treatment, an on-site disposal project for leachate has been added. Leachate and car wash wastewater from station operations are treated through preliminary pretreatment, secondary A/O biochemical treatment, and MBR membrane treatment to meet the comprehensive tertiary discharge standard before being discharged into the municipal sewage network. Since its completion and operation in 2018, the Dingqiao Solid Waste Transfer Station has organized more than 200 open activities, having attracted approximately 6,100 visiting person times and effectively enhanced public awareness and participation in ecological and environmental governance.
The Yinzhou District Ecological Environment Monitoring Station is a third-level station in the national environmental monitoring system. The total area of the monitoring station is 2,100 square meters, including a laboratory area of 1,700 square meters. Equipped with instruments and equipment including gas chromatograph, continuous flow analyzer, atomic fluorescence spectrophotometer, atomic absorption spectrometer, iCAP plasma emission spectrometer, ion chromatograph, noise analyzer, etc., the monitoring station mainly carries out environmental quality monitoring work in the whole district, responsible for environmental monitoring of various environmental elements in the whole district, collection, summary and management of data, and preparation of environmental quality reports for the whole district; responsible for monitoring pollution sources and post-treatment monitoring in the entire district; undertakes environmental monitoring in the investigation of environmental pollution accidents and arbitration of environmental pollution disputes; undertakes sudden environmental pollution incidents, and deals with information reported, suggestions raised, complaints or requests from the masses, and other emergency monitoring tasks throughout the district.
